The settings in the dynamic frontend configuration define which menus and features are availabe for the user within the s.GUARD applications, i.e. in the mobile apps and the desktop or web client.

The following table describes the menu items which can be enabled or disabled. Menu items which are disabled are hidden completely from the applications' user interface.

Positioning

If enabled, the user will have the option to activate or deactivate the positioning feature on the mobile application.

When the positioning feature is activated by the user, the mobile application will send MBO pings to s.GUARD. In case the setting "track location" is enabled in the User Settings, also the location information will be transferred upon activating the positioning feature.

Chat

Chat functionality within the event.

Note:

This setting controls the availability of the chat function from within an event. The dedicated chat menu can be enabled / disabled in the dynamic frontend menu settings (see table above).

Disable Users

Option for the user to disarm himself from events in the applications' settings menu.

Disable Events

Option for the user to deactivate events in the applications' settings menu.

Notification Sound
