Breadcrumbs: Navigation > Settings > Email templates
This menu allows to define E-Mail templates, both for plain text and HTML mails.
If "HTML" is enabled in the default channel settings, the HTML templates will be used. Otherwise, the plain text templates apply.
The "use default" switch which is present for each template element can be used to switch back to the default texts.
Email activated subject | Default subject for E-Mail notifications. Note: this is only used if no specific subject has been configured in the event settings. |
Active episode’s html body template | HTML template for the body of E-Mail notifications. The placeholder ~templateBody~ allows to integrate the body which is configured in the event settings. |
Active episode’s plain body template | Plain text template for the body of E-Mail notifications. The placeholder ~templateBody~ allows to integrate the body which is configured in the event settings. |
Active episode’s html data template | This content will be used for HTML E-Mail notifications as ~templateBody~, if no specific body has been configured in the event settings. |
Active episode’s plain data template | This content will be used for plain text E-Mail notifcations as ~templateBody~, if no specific body has been configured in the event settings. |
Reset password subject | Subject of the E-Mail sent by s.GUARD when an user requests to reset his password. |

Channel testing subject | Subject of the E-Mail sent by s.GUARD when a user is testing his E-Mail channel |
