Time and date placeholders

Date of episode activation.

Example: 04.03.2026

~fireDateLong~

Date of episode activation in long format.

Example: March 4, 2026

~fireTime~

Time of episode activation in 24h format.

Example: 18:45

~fireTimeLong~

Time of episode activation in 12h format.

Example: 6:45 PM

~stopDate~

Date when the episode was terminated.

Example: 04.03.2026

~stopTime~

Time when the episode was terminated.

Example: 10:19

~dateTime~

Date and time when an episode has been activated.

Example: 04.03.2026/10:42

~createdAtFull~

Date and time of the episode activation.

Example: 2026-03-04T10:56:56.000

~stoppedAtFull~

Date and time when the episode was terminated

Activator and recipient placeholders

~fireFirstName~

First name of the activator.

Example: John

~fireLastName~

Last name of the activator.

Example: Smith

First and last name of the activator.

~groupUsers~

List of all recipients of the episode.

Example: John Smith, Tom Brown, Sarah Taylor

~escalationInfoActivator~

First and last name of the activator of the root event. Only available in case the current event has been started by a follow up rule (see advanced event settings).

Information of all of the activator's contact points.

Message placeholders

Message which has been provided by one of the following:

  • Ad-hoc message when activating an episode from a s.GUARD app
  • Message transmitted when activating an episode using the s.GUARD API
  • Text of the incoming SMS when activating an episode using SMS key text

In case the episode has been activated by an incoming e-mail, this placeholder contains the complete body of this e-mail.

~emailSubject~

In case the episode has been activated by an incoming e-mail, this placeholder contains the subject of this e-mail.

Location placeholders

GPS coordinates of the activator.

Accuracy of the activator's GPS position.

Example: 0

GPS latitude of the activator.

GPS longitude of the activator.

~indoorLocation~ 

Name of the BLE beacon which is nearest to the activator of an episode.

~escalationInfoLatitude~

Latitude (GPS position) of the activator of the root event. Only available in case the current event has been started by a follow up rule (see advanced event settings).

Longitude (GPS position) of the activator of the root event. Only available in case the current event has been started by a follow up rule (see advanced event settings).

Name of the event sound.

Status of the episode.

Possible values:

0 - none

1 - active

2 - in progress

3 - closed

4 - restarted

5 - open checklist

~critical~

Defines if iOS critical notifcations are enabled for the episode.

Possible values:

0 - disabled

1 - enabled

Reaction placeholders

~smsReplyPhone~

SMS number which is configured on the s.GUARD tenant for sending/receiving SMS.

~reactionUrl~

Link to a page from which reactions to an episode can be provided. To be used in e-mail or SMS notifications to allow the recipient to give feedback.

~reactionLink~

Link to a page (html format) from which reactions to an episode can be provided. To be used in e-mail or SMS notifications to allow the recipient to give feedback.
