In the Profile section of the user configuration, basic user settings can be reviewed and adjusted.

Profile

Template

Custom template with default settings that will be applied to the user.

The templates which are offered in the drop down menu have to be created beforehand in the settings.

Note: the Template menu item is only visible when creating a new user.

Name

First name(s) of the user

Surname

Last name(s) of the user

Language

Language of the user.

This setting determines:

  • The language of the application after log in
  • The language of the notification texts which are sent to this user

Desktop-Mobile-Application / EMS

Login (E-Mail)

E-Mail address for logging into to any s.GUARD application, including EMS

Password

Password used for logging in with e-mail and password.

It must comply with the following requirements:

  • minimum length: 6 characters
  • minimum 1 lower case character
  • minimum 1 upper case character
  • minimum 1 number

2FA

Activate / deactivate two factor authentication for accessing EMS.

Note:

This can only be activated if the "Phone number for two factor Auth" is set.

Additionally it is required that an outbound SMS number is defined in the Default Channel Settings.

Phone number for two factor Auth

Phone number to which 2FA confirmation codes will be sent.

Must be specified in international format without spaces (e.g. +19701234567)

Channels

The available channels must be configured in the Channel Settings. There, also the names which are displayed for the channels are defined. The table below describes the possible channel types. However, in EMS you will see the name of each channel.

Channels with type "SMS"

Phone number for SMS in international format without spaces (e.g. +19701234567)

Channels with type "Call"

Phone number for voice calls in international format without spaces (e.g. +19701234567)

Channels with type "Push"

If active, the user will receive push notifications to all devices where he is currently logged in.

Channels with type "Email"

E-Mail address in a valid format

Channels with type "Pager"

Used for Swissphone s.QUAD C pagers and must be defined to be able to use the pager either as loneworker device or for reception of messages via LTE.

Specify device serial number in format Cxxxxxx.xxxxx

Channels with type "RIC"

Used to send notifications to pagers which are connected via i.SITE using an Edge Device. Specify RIC and SubRIC in format xxxxxxx A

Channels with types "TUS, Thingsboard, Deepstream, ATT"

Contact the support team to configure these channels if required.

ATT Dialing Properties
ATT dialing properties are only visible if the ATT service is activated

Key

Key as defined by the ATT system.

This shall only be modified by Swissphone support.

Value

Phone number to be called by the ATT system
