Breadcrumbs: Navigation > Auth Groups
Auth Groups are a good way to achieve separation of entities on the same tenant. This may for example be helpful if different independent sites of the same company are meant to be managed on the same tenant.
Users with user role "Responsible User" are local admins of an Auth Group. Once they log into EMS, they will only see items which have the same Auth Group as themselves configured.
Settings
Name | Name of the Auth Group |
Description | An optional description of the purpose of the group |
Status | If enabled, the Auth Group can be used to structure entities |
User list
Only users with the user role "Responsible Users" can be selected from the drop down. All responsible users which are selected here are made local admins, restricted to the entities which belong to the Auth Group.
