s.GUARD supports position information based on beacons which advertise in either iBeacon or Eddystone format.

The beacon localization information will only be made available in case of an alert.

Add / edit beacon

Name

Name of the beacon. Only used within EMS for identification of the beacon, not visible to the user of the s.GUARD app.

Status

If enabled, the configuration of this beacon is used.

If disabled, this beacon is not taken into account.

UUID

UUID of the beacon

Major ID

Major ID of the beacon

Minor ID

Minor ID of the beacon

Monitoring

Link to a beacon monitoring configuration (see Beacon Monitoring)

Last Seen timeout

This value is used by the beacon monitoring, if defined.

A BLE beacon is considered to be "seen" if it has been detected by the s.GUARD mobile app or a s.QUAD C pager.

If the defined timespan has passed since the beacon has been seen for the last time, the fallback event of the monitoring is triggered.

Battery % threshold

This value is used by the beacon monitoring, if defined.

If the battery charge drops below that threshold, the fallback event of the monitoring is triggered.

Location

Location name which shall be displayed in the s.GUARD app if this beacon is the closest one to the user's location.

Attachment

Image (e.g. floor plan) which shall be displayed in the s.GUARD app if this beacon is the closes on to the user's location.

Use the dropdown arrow to select an image which exists in the media beacon image collection.

Use the image icon to upload a new image to the media beacon image collection.
