The perimeter feature allows to manipulate the group assignment of a user based on his location (GPS, BLE, IP address based).
Perimeter configuration
Name | Name of the perimeter. Only used within EMS and not visible to s.GUARD app users. |
Logo | Logo which will be visible in the s.GUARD app when using the presence function. |
Type | GPS - Perimeter defined based on GPS location (only supported by mobile apps) WLE - Perimeter defined based on nearest beacon (only supported by mobile apps) IP - Perimeter defined based on IP range (only supported by desktop client) |
Bounds | Only present for perimeter type GPS. Click on the map symbol to define the boundaries of the GPS range graphically on the map. |
Beacons | Only present for perimeter type WLE. Click "Add beacons" button to select which beacons belong to this perimeter. |
IP | Only present for perimeter type IP. Enter IP ranges in format 192.168.1.10/24 |
Status | If enabled, the configuration of this perimeter will be used |
On enter / on leave perimeter
It is possible to define actions which shall be executed when a user enters or leaves a perimeter.
Add to group | Select one or multiple groups to which the user will be added upon entering/leaving the perimeter. |
Remove from group | Select one or multiple groups from which the user will be removed upon entering/leaving the perimeter. |
Activate in group | Select one or multiple groups in which the user will be activated upon entering/leaving the perimeter. Note: only users which belong to that group can be activated. |
Deactivate in group | Select one or multiple groups in which the user will be deactivated upon entering/leaving the perimeter. |
